United Way works closely with organized labor to tackle critical issues in the Quad Cities.

This partnership ensures our community is aware and focused on the needs and issues most important to working families. Our programs and initiatives include:

- Helping individuals and families in need. Click here to get help for you or someone you know.

- Community Forums. They provide guidance and support to working families.

- National Association of Letter Carriers Food Drive. Every May, Quad-City residents can donate food by leaving the items by their mailbox.

- Labor Day Parade.

- Workers Memorial Day.

- United Way Workplace Campaign. A special thank you to the union leaders and employees who changed lives in our community through their donations.

There are currently three members on the United Way Board of Directors representing organized labor in the Quad Cities. Click here for their names and affiliations.

If you have any questions, please contact Joshua Schipp United Way AFL-CIO Community Services Liaison. In her role at United Way, Robyn facilitates joint partnerships between United Way and the Central Labor Council to improve the quality of life in the Quad Cities.
